Marian Rosella Foundation, Inc.
Every Person Deserves a Safe Home and the Chance to Thrive
About Marian Rosella Foundation, Inc.
The Marian Rosella Foundation, Inc. is a Delaware 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 2020 by Kenyesta Candies, a Newark-based community advocate. Founded on the belief that every person deserves a safe place to come home to and the opportunity to achieve financial stability, the Foundation addresses a critical gap in Delaware’s social services landscape: the shortage of safe, stable, and supportive housing for people working to build or rebuild their lives. Led by a minority woman founder, the organization is deeply committed to equity, dignity, and community-centered care.
The Foundation serves individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, justice-involved individuals, veterans, seniors, and young adults transitioning from foster care. Through partnerships with various companies and organizations, we deliver comprehensive recovery housing support, reentry services, veteran housing assistance, foster care transition support, senior co-living programs, peer recovery services, life skills programming, and grant funding navigation. Our wraparound community programming is supported by public and private grant funding, ensuring that individuals throughout Delaware receive the holistic support they need to achieve lasting stability and empowerment.
